OKAY, SO I THOUGHT SHAUNAS IDEA OF TAKING PICTURES OF YOUR KIDS MESSES INSTEAD OF FREAKING OUT WAS KINDA OFF THE WALL, BUT I GOT A GOOD LAUGH AT HER COUPONS ALL OVER THE FLOOR AND THE LAUNDRY SPREAD FROM ONE ROOM TO ANOTHER. ALSO SIERRAS LITTLE GIRL HAVING FUN WITH THE TOILET PAPER ALL OVER THE BATHROOM WAS GREAT AS WELL.YOU KNOW WE GET SO CAUGHT UP IN THE DAY TO DAY LIFE WE TEND TO OVERLOOK THE LITTLE THINGS. LIKE DOES IT REALLY MATTER THAT OUR HOUSE ALWAYS PICKED UP AND BEDS MADE OR DISHES DONE RIGHT.? I BELIEVE THAT PATIENCE IS SOMETHING YOU PRACTICE MORE OFTEN WHEN YOU FINALLY HAVE KIDS AND YOUR LIFE SEEMS LIKE IT IS OUT OF CONTROL. SO, THIS MORNING I TOLD LEXIE TO NOT GET ANYTHING OUT BEFORE SCHOOL CAUSE SHE ONLY HAD 10 MINS. BEFORE THE BUS WAS COMING. I THREW A LOAD OF LAUNDRY IN AND CAME BACK UPSTAIRS TO MY ROOM....SO IMMEDIATELY I THOUGHT OF SHAUNA. LEXIE PRECEEDS TO TELL ME " MOM DONT PICK THIS UP CAUSE I WILL PLAY WITH MY POLLY POCKETS AND BARBIES WHEN I GET HOME. SORRY FOR MESSING UP YOUR BED." HAHAHAHA!! OKAY I SAID AND I TOOK THE PICTURE. WELL, THAT WENT OVER BETTER THAN I THOUGHT USUALLY I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN UPSET WITH LEX BUT, TODAY I JUST GIGGLED TO MYSELF. THINKING THIS IS JUST A LITTLE THING AND IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO LEX THAT I LET IT ROLL OFF MY BACK.
NOW ZACH ON THE OTHER HAND IS JUST A TOTAL TEENAGER AND IS LAZY. EVERY MORNING BEFORE HE LEAVES FOR SCHOOL I ASK THE SAME QUESTION I DO EVERY MORNING " DID YOU MAKE YOUR BED?" HE ALWAYS REPLIES " I KNOW MOM !" OR "YES I DID!" OKAY SO THIS IS WHAT HIS BED LOOKS LIKE WHEN HE "MADE" IT THIS MORNING.....NOTICE HOW WELL THE BED IS MADE. AND HOW THE TOWELS THAT HANG ON THE BED POST ARE SUPPOSED TO BE HANGING ON THE BACK OF THE BATHROOM DOOR. JUST SO YOU KNOW I WILL ASK HIM WHEN HE GETS HOME FROM SCHOOL TO TAKE A LOOK AT HIS ROOM AND HE WILL SAY "WHAT" ...AND THEN HE WILL TELL ME "OH YEA I FORGOT" . LOVE TEENAGEERS!!!
AND THEN THERES JEFF. HE HAS BEEN OUT OF TOWN SINCE SUNDAY MORNING AND I CAN GUARANTEE THAT WHEN HE GETS HOME THIS AFTERNOON HIS STUFF WILL GO RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LIVING ROOM, KICKS OFF SHOES AND GETS SOMETHING TO EAT. LEAVING A TRAIL OF THINGS FOR ME TO GO BEHIND AND PICK UP. SEE EVEN THOUGH I DONT HAVE LITTLE TODDLERS I STILL HAVE THE SAME ISSUES YOU YOUNGER MOMS HAVE. SO I CAN SAY PATIENCE IS PRACTICED AT THIS HOUSE AS WELL. AND I LOVED SHAUNAS IDEA OF TAKING A PICTURE AND SHARING IT INSTEAD OF MAKING IT AN ISSUE WITH LEX AND ZACH. JEFF IS TO BE DETERMINED...

I love it, your post made me laugh. You are such a cute mom, and I totally enjoy watching you raise your kids. I have to admit, in the 2 years we have known you, I don't think I have ever seen anything out of place in your house, so those pictures right there are priceless. Thanks for joining us in this fun challenge, may we all have more pictures to post, and laugh and be thankful our kids don't do what others kids do haha. XOXO
You gotta love being the maid! I just let my kids make their own beds and have to laugh every morning. Ridges blankets are usually crooked and Jax never pulls his sheet up so his bed is all lumpy-but hey at least their doing it themselves right!
Loved your post today! What you said is very true- WHy sweat the small stuff.. LIfe is way to short. You sure are a great mom to those kids :)
Holy crap! If I took a picture of my girls' room, you would wonder where they slept at night. Plus I could fill up my entire blog with pictures of messes because you all know how much I like to clean. Love ya,
