Valentines Day

I love spoiling my 2 kiddos and hubby on Valentines Day with just goodies and small unexpected gifts! Chocolate covered strawberries and other goodies from Ms. Cavanughs is a MUST every year! Little surprises like car air-freshners, favorite gum, energy drinks, favorite candy, little trinkets, and cards to say "I Love You"!!!

I have the most incredible family ever!!! They bring happiness to my life and put smiles on my face every day!

Las Vegas Trip

Jeff and I decided that we wouldnt get eachother anything for our birthdays and X-mas so we could take a mini-vacation to Vegas! We headed to Vegas with some friends of ours Chazz and Patrice in the middle of Jan. for 5 nights of fun!!!!!
The night we left for Vegas there was white-out conditions. Yep! just a small blizzard and some extra time on the runway as they de-iced the plane. BUMPY BUMPY!!!! but when we landed in Vegas the weather was beautiful! We stayed at Hooters ( for the $1.50 budlights )lol!!!
For X-mas I did surprise Jeff with a Richard Petty Ride-Along at the Las Vegas Motorspeed Way. Here are a couple pics of Jeff and Chazz riding in a real Nascar on the Nascar track! Heres Cahzz and Jeff all geared up and ready to go! Jeff climbing into the car!

There is Jeff on the official Nascar track doing 175 mph!!!!
Here he is coming in off the track and Chazz is in the blue car!
You know, we are not big Nascar fans...but Jeff enjoys speed!!! So I was hoping he would enjoy the adrenalin rush and by the look on his face I think I nailed it!!!
We stopped off at a Shebly car show. Very impressive cars I must say...

We spent an afternoon at the Bass Pro-shop! This is what happens when 2 grown men drink too much ....
good-times folks!!!! anyways, we did some shopping and walked the strip. Visited Freemont Street and stopped off at The Pawn Shop. Went on my first helicopter ride. It flew us over the Hoover Dam!
We also visited the Hoover Dam on foot! The last time we were in Vegas the Dam was still under construction. I can not believe how big and impressive this bridge is.

Went to a show...pretty much sucked I must say! DO NOT waste your money or time and see "The Caveman"!! It was horrible!!!
We did some gambling...which I must say...I won close to $450 just playing the penny machines!!! WOOT_WOOT!!!! Winner-winner!!!!
The last day we were there we decided to hang out by the pool and play some games that we brought along. The weather was gorgeous that day...65 degrees!!!

This is the view from our room the morning we left.
And when we arrived back in S.L.C. the weather was miserable and cloudy. When we pulled up to the driveway this was at the front door!
Funny how you cant wait to go on vacation and get away from the kiddos and then...you cant wait to get home and give them hugs and kisses cause you have missed them sooooo much!!! We had such a great time and enjoyed hanging out with good friends!

Christmas 2010

OK so here is my deal about Christmas! I am such a TARD and I am sooooo mad at myself...I thought I downloaded all the X-mas pictures so I deleted them off my camera....came to actually viewing the X-mas pictures on the computer and realized that I NEVER downloaded them!!!! Therefore I have NO, NONE, NADA, X-mas pictures!!! Who does that?... ME!!!!Anyways....we enjoyed X-mas Eve at our house with my family and Deana and her family. We did a dinner and played cards all night! So much fun : ) Next morning we opened gifts and then headed over to Jeffs sisters house to see his family, have X-mas breakfast and exchange gifts. Then we came back home and had all of my family over for dinner and presents! It was a busy day and we all had so much fun. Minus all the pictures...still cant believe I did that!

Zach turns 16

I am really behind on my blogging! Just been caught up in life : ) Ok so on Dec. 12th Zach turned 16!!!! Where has all the time gone? Seems like yesterday that I was holding him in my arms and snuggling him as a newborn...seeing him take his first steps...sending him off to preschool...learning how to ride a bike etc....and now I am watching him drive away in his own vehicle!
For his 16th Birthday Zach got his license and a Toyota truck!

We had a big party for him and invited all our close friends that have watched him grow up and our family. We had quite a turn out! Close to 40 people ,give or take a few. We just did a potluck dinner, cake and icecream, and presents!

We had such a great time that night with great friends and family! I dont want to bore ya with tons of pictures so I just posted a few! But, I must say that my son Zach is really a terrific kid! I couldnt ask for a better son! I enjoy watching him grow into a young man. He is one of my best friends! I am so proud to be his mother.
Happy 16th Birthday Zach...I love you so much : )
